The headline is done with apologies to 80's era rapper MC Hammer and lovers of Yiddish everywhere. I don't know about my opponents but I thought this New Yorker cartoon said as much about how political candidates feel most days as it did about dating. While many might think we're out saying things to be etched in marble or just trying to avoid a YouTube moment, a lot of our day is just nose-to-the-grindstone, finger-to-the-dial-pad fundraising.
